becoming a member


The information listed below is based upon Section 3 of the CVMA Bylaws and is for reference only.  Final determination will be determined by the Texas State Representative upon review of your application and your form DD-214.

All interested personnel must read, understand, and agree to abide by the By-Laws and Protocol 101 of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.  This information is located at the CVMA Links below.  Submit a Request for Info if you would like to pursue membership.


Full member

  • Good character
  • Veteran of a Foreign War, "Combat"; DD214 or ERB must be verified by BOD
  • Annual dues of $20 (CVMA members deployed in a war zone will have dues waived)
  • Must own/opearte a motorcycle of 500cc or above


Auxiliary MEMBER

  • Good character
  • Must be a spouse, widow or widower of a full member who is in good standing with the CVMA
  • Must support the efforts of ALL branches of the United States of Americas Armed Forces and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
  • Annual dues of $10
  • Will no hold no position in the BOD
  • Will have no vote in CVMA business

Supporter MEMBER

  (maximum number of support members will not exceed 10% of total CVMA FULL Combat membership)
  • Good character
  • Must own/opearte a motorcycle of 500cc or above
  • Must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces
  • Must read and abide by all CVMA by-laws applicable to them.  Sections excluded:
    • Section 3
    • Section 6 and subsection 2
    • Elections
    • Duties of Officers
  • Must submit application and proof of military service through a CVMA Full member.  That full member must have held a membership for not less than one year.
  • Must have ridden a minimum of 3,000 miles with their sponsor, attended three CVMA events or be known by their sponsor for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Only 1 support member can be vouched on per year by an individual CVMA full member.
  • Support members will be at a 1 to 10 ratio (1 support member per 10 full members based upon state)
  • Will have no vote in CVMA business
  • Cannot hold a position on the BOD
  • Annual dues of $10
  • Eligible to wear the CVMA Support Patch on the front of their vest/jacket and can also wear the 10" support back patch (both will be provided by their sponsor)
